Seiko Watch Reviews

Seiko has been making watches in Japan since 1881 and remains one of the few brands that manufactures its own movements at scale. The NH35 and NH36 automatic calibres power the 5 Sports line, offering solid accuracy and in-house serviceability for under $200. Higher up, Prospex diver and Presage dress collections use higher-beat movements with finer finishing — still at prices that undercut Swiss equivalents by a wide margin. If you want reliable mechanical watchmaking without paying the Swiss premium, Seiko is the obvious starting point.
